#StayOkayHK
The School of Nursing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University received funding from the Health and Medical Research Fund in 2022 to launch a 3-year public health campaign titled “#StayOkayHK: A universal public health initiative to promote stay-at-home during COVID-19.” This initiative aims to strengthen the public’s intention and motivation to stay at home during the pandemic, and provide fun and health-promotive home-based activities that will make home a happier place, even after the pandemic.
Program Objectives
Improve the public's willingness and motivation to stay at home during the epidemic, so that the public can avoid unnecessary high-risk social activities, so as to reduce the risk of spreading the new coronavirus in the community.
Assess the public’s stay-at-home intention, motivation, and behavior, and the ongoing psychological impacts of COVID-19.
Promote psychological well-being through participatory social media activities; provide ideas to make home a happier and more comfortable place, even after the pandemic.
