In addition to PERMA which was shared previously, learning to live in the moment and savor life can also help us maintain positive emotions. #StayOkayHK reminds everyone to make good use of the five senses to experience every moment, trying to amplify the feelings of positive experiences and truly savor our life:
Sight: Take the time to appreciate your surroundings, paying attention to the colors, textures, and shapes you see. Even ordinary things hold unexpected beauty.
Hearing: Use your ears to listen to the various sounds around you.
Taste: Savor each meal, appreciating its unique flavors and textures. Eating is not just about filling your stomach; it's also a way to enjoy life.
Smell: Use your nose to notice the scents in your environment. Breathe in the essence of nature or immerse yourself in aromas that help you feel relaxed.
Touch: Pay attention to the texture, weight, and temperature of things around you. Touching and feeling with your hands will help you connect more deeply with the world.
