In our busy lives, we often overlook the importance of mental health!  However, maintaining good mental health is crucial for enhancing our quality of life!

In addition to the healthy emotion regulation that we shared earlier , the Act-Belong-Commit that #StayOkayHK shares this time provides a simple and effective framework to help us improve our mental health .

Mental Health ABC (Act-Belong-Commit)

Act: Take action by actively participating in various activities to keep your body and mind engaged, which in turn enhances your mood and confidence.
e.g. Exercise for 30 minutes every day; read books to expand your knowledge; or meditate to relax and relieve stress.

Belong: Build connections with friends, family, or the community to seek support and understanding.
e.g. Join community activities, participate in interest groups, or regularly stay in touch with family and friends to share life moments and strengthen relationships.

Commit: Set clear goals, and seek meaning and fulfillment in the process of pursuing these goals.
e.g. Write down personal short-term and long-term goals, learn new skills, participate in charitable activities to contribute to society—these can all provide a sense of achievement and joy.
